How does your T-Shirts and Polos ordering system work?
When you choose T-Shirts and Polos from our product menu, a list of available products will appear. When you choose one, you will be taken to a Quantity Range selection page. Select whatever Min Qty you are interested in. For example, if you are interested in buying between 50 and 99 t-shirts, choose Min Qty 50. After selecting a Min Qty you will be taken to the Size Selection page. The first thing you will see is the Customization menu at the top. Here you will choose all the options you want for your T-Shirts or Polos. These options include: shirt color, number of logo colors, choice of print or embroidery, front/back/sleeve logo placement, etc... Further details about these options are covered later in this FAQ. You will also need to enter the total number of t-shirts you plan to purchase into the quantity box in this window. If you wish to change the quantity later without re-entering your other options, you may do so easily at checkout. If you are certain of the options you have chosen, press the buy button to add your options to the shopping cart. Pressing the buy button will reset the options in the customization window, but don't worry; they have already been stored to your shopping cart. If you are uncertain of the options you have chosen, do not press the buy button. You may return to the Customization window after selecting the sizes you wish to purchase, and re-input your options.
Below the Customization window you will find a selection of sizes. Simply enter the quantity of each size you want into the quantity box next to that size, and click the buy button. The buy button must be pressed for each size chosen, and will reset all of the quantity and options on the page. Again, don't worry. Your choice for that size has been added to your shopping cart. Be careful not to press buy for any size more than once unless you wish to add additional shirts of that size to your order. As with the quantity in the customization window, it may be altered easily at checkout. The important thing to remember is that the total quantity of all sizes selected must be equal to or greater than the Min Qty listed for that page, and must be equal to the quantity selected in the Customization window. We strongly recommend that you review your order at checkout to ensure that this is the case. If you order less than the Min Qty listed for that page, your order will be canceled and your money refunded. For example: If I was on the Min Qty 50 Size Selection page and I wanted 75 T-Shirts, I would select my options and enter 75 into the quantity box in the Customization window. I would then decide how many of each size I wanted. Perhaps, I would choose 10 smalls, 40 larges, 15 XL, 5 XXL, 5 XXX for a total of 75 shirts. I would now see a total of 150 items in my shopping cart at the top right (accounting for 75 shirts and 75 customizations), in addition to any other purchases I made.
If, after, choosing my options in the Customization window I decided I also wanted 5 mediums, I would enter 5 into the quantity box next to medium, and press buy. Next, I would click the shopping cart icon at the top right to view my shopping cart. Here I would see a list of all my purchases. In the quantity box next to my Customizations I would change the number from 75 to 80 to account for the additional 5 medium shirts, and choose update cart. From here, I would either choose to proceed to checkout, or continue shopping.
Remember, it is always okay to choose your Customization options after choosing your sizes. Just don't press buy before you are certain, or you will have 2 sets of Customization options in your shopping cart. If you find yourself in this situation, simply remove the set you do not want from the cart at checkout.
Why is your system set up this way?
There are 2 important reasons why we set up our t-shirt and polo purchasing system in this manner, and they both have to do with saving you money. We know our customers love the flexibility of ordering multiple sizes within a single order; however, it presents us with certain complications. The first has to do with shipping weight. For any single product we can only attach one shipping weight. If we use the weight for our largest size and you choose smaller sizes, then you wind up paying too much for shipping. That may not matter much for a single shirt, but when you're ordering in quantity, the cost adds up fast. We know you don't want to pay more than the actual cost of shipping, and we wouldn't dream of asking you to. That's why we've created a separate selection for each size. The second complication is in creating a system that allows total flexibility when ordering multiple sizes while retaining quantity discounts based on the total order size. If you choose 25 smalls, 25 mediums, 25 larges, and 25 XLs, you deserve the quantity discount for 100 shirts. Unfortunately, our current quantity discount system only sees this as 4 orders of 25. By organizing the shirts into different quantity discount groups ahead of time, we are able to adjust our pricing based on the total quantity you order. At Strictly Logos, we never ask our customers to pay more than they should.
So, my T-Shirt or Polo order can contain any combination of sizes?
You got it! Any combination you want! Whether you need 50 of each size, or 38 smalls, 23 mediums and 1 large, you still get the quantity discount for the total number of that style of shirt you order.
And, I can choose ANY Pantone color if I purchase 300 shirts or more?
Right again! With Strictly Logos, your fabric color options are nearly limitless. Just go to our color chart page at http://www.strictlylogos.com/colorchart.asp and choose a color. After you place your order we'll you ask for the number of your color choice. Or you can first send us the color you want to use at customrequest@strictlylogos.com.
What are my logo style options on T-Shirts, Polos, and Caps?
We offer both print and embroidery on all of our t-shirts and polos, and embroidery only on our caps. It is possible to combine the two if desired. For example: Embroidery on the front of a polo, with a larger print on back. We offer two types of print, and one type of embroidery on all of our T-shirts and Polos. Two styles of embroidery are available on our caps.
Tell me about the different print styles.
We offer both oil and water printing on all of T-Shirts and Polos. Oil printing will provide the most accurate color representation, and works well on any color shirt. Water printing can be more comfortable, as the print is softer and more flexible, however, the print colors are generally less saturated and may appear somewhat faded. Depending on what you want, this can be a great look. Unfortunately, it does not produce acceptable results on darker colors. As a rule, we recommend that water printing not be chosen on fabric colors other than white. It can produce really good results on other light colors, however, the determination to try it is left up to you. Remember, the lighter the color, the better. We will not be held responsible for unsatisfactory results if you choose a color other than white. Please see our Custom Logo FAQ at http://www.strictlylogos.com/customlogofaq for more information on how to properly prepare your artwork for the best results.
Tell me about the different embroidery styles.
We offer a single type of embroidery on our T-Shirts and Polos, and an additional type on our caps. The first type is the simple, smooth embroidery that you're likely already familiar with. The second is a raised 3D embroidery style that adds a dramatic accent to caps. To see an example, check out our caps page. With both types of embroidery, the important thing to remember is that embroidery does not give as exact a representation as print. The amount of detail is inherently limited by the size of the thread, in the same way that the detail of a computer image is limited by the number of pixels. Be especially aware of this when choosing to place very detailed images on the back or side of a cap, particularly very small lettering. We will do everything we can to ensure proper rendering; however, due to the nature of the process, we cannot guarantee that very small details will be rendered exactly and without defect. Also, only relatively non-detailed logos or pieces of logos can be done in the 3D embroidery style. As an example, large lettering is not a problem to do in 3D embroidery, however anything with small details will be difficult or impossible to do in 3D embroidery.

What is a Collar Inset?
A collar inset is a thin ring of fabric sewn inside the normal collar of a t-shirt. It creates a sort of double collar, typically of a contrasting color, and looks great! We're pleased to offer this option absolutely free of charge!
What is a 2 Color Baseball T?
These are T-Shirts in the style of classic baseball jerseys with a 2nd color on the shoulders and sleeves. The 2nd color is available in any Pantone color with orders of 300 or more. A great option is a white front with the shoulder and sleeves matching a color on your logo! |
