It’s no secret that record sales aren’t where most artists make their money. Even for large acts touring and merchandising are where it’s at. For small bands, who aren’t even getting a slice of concessions, merchandise sales provide the fuel that keeps them going. Not only that, it gets your name out there and spreads your fan base. Whether you’re a rapper, DJ, hip hop, or R&B artist, you’re not doing all you can to make it, if you’re not merchandising at your shows.
